Added back in the Divisional possibilities of a ATG battalion, an extra 120mm battalion and/or a multiple rocket launcher battalion. For those Divisions activated before March 1942, this TO&E remained in force through to the end of 1942.

Rifle Division (Mar – Dec 1942; TO 04/200-216)

This TO&E was enacted for new Divisions from March 1942. This TO&E was revised in May, June and July and the details provided here are those of the final structure. , This TO&E remained in force through to the end of 1942.

Divisions were given an additional – albeit weak – Artillery Battalion to compensate for the Rocket Launcher Battalion that was hardly ever present and for removal of one 120mm Mortar Battalion. 57mm ATG were no longer available, being appropriated by higher level echelons. A Machine Gun battalion was also added.

Anti-tank rifles (ATR) were now in plentiful supply so a ATR company was attached to the Anti-tank battalion.
