Ring of Iron – A Crossfire Battle Report

Andrew Coleby and I play tested my Ring of Iron Scenario. I’d only knocked it together in a couple of hours and that showed in the design. I subsequently changed three things.

Here are the three things I changed and why:

Original Scenario Revised Scenario Reason
2 real hour time limit Moving Clock Puts more pressure on the attacker to make real gains each imitative
Map with the hills in a line Map with two hills up front an one at the back Giving defender more tactical options and a chance to counter-attack
Auto-win if the Nationalist captured all three hills Remove this victory condition Allow a defender counter-attack.
