I picked up Issue 388 of Miniature Wargames with Battle Games (August 2015) to read Nikolas Lloyd’s article on Operation Crossfire. I was surprised to discover I’ve been featured in the “Blogs of the Month” section.
Henry Hyde, the editor of Miniature Wargames, says of me and my site: “Regardless of the ‘Balagan’, he’s clearly an enthusiastic and regular blogger and there’s lots here to explore. Good stuff!” Thanks Henry.
Congratulations!
And he is correct- always an idea or two to use.
I agree I get your e-mail updates and I am always impressed with your output and site. Thanks.
Congrats, fully agree- always interesting and useful stuff here, not just on CF.
Good for you. Your blog has got me making Spanish troops for Shako. Thanks
Well done!
You may have answered this before, but just out of curiosity, what DOES “balagan” mean?
Love your website!
Best regards,
Chris
Thanks Chris (and Glenn, Noel, John, MJ, Grant) on the kind words.
Balagan means mess or chaos with an earlier connotation of a messy shack (hence the logo). If you want to know more then I have put together, with a few other folks, quite a lot on What is Balagan?
Well done. You deserve the accolades.
I second Henry’s opinion. This blog is a real treasure. Interesting and diverse. A real resource. Thanks Steven,
Fantastic! Well done! 🙂
