Fuego Cruzado
Fuego Cruzado is a variant of Crossfire for early 20th century wars involving the Spanish, notably the Spanish Civil War and Rif Wars. These two wars are grouped together because the Spanish Army of Africa was involved in both. The most important bit is Fuego Cruzado: Crossfire House Rules for Spain’s Wars. See also my Crossfire House Rules.
45 Pesetas – A Crossfire Scenario in the Spanish Civil War
A scenario for Fuego Cruzado – my variant of Crossfire for the Spanish Civil War. 45 Pesetas was the bounty the Nationalists put on a Republican T-26 tank. The Moroccans were keen on this offer and through their endeavours the Nationalists built up their own T-26 units. Somehow this seems like a potential game.

The Political Commissar Special Rule for Crossfire. Standard Crossfire doesn’t cover this but it is described in Hit the Dirt (p. 8). The rule is optional but is applicable to Soviets in WWII – in particular between July 1941 and November 1942 – and communists in any number of civil wars and insurgencies, e.g. the Spanish Civil War and the Portuguese Colonial War.

Tank attack at Sesena – A Crossfire Scenario in the Spanish Civil War
A scenario for Fuego Cruzado – my variant of Crossfire for the Spanish Civil War – featuring the brand new Republican T-26 tanks fresh off the boats from the USSR. Historically the Republican armour mauled Nationalist Cavalry in the streets of Seseña then destroyed an Italian tankette squadron. They were only driven off by Legionnaires getting personal with petrol bombs.
