Open Ground Terrain Feature in Crossfire

Some musing on an ‘Open Ground’ terrain feature to break movement in Crossfire. Standard Crossfire doesn’t cover this.

Has anyone experimented with a terrain feature that just breaks movement but otherwise provides no cover or LOS restrictions? I guess this would be delineated open ground, out of season fields, or pasture/meadow in rural settings. By using it, one would be able to break up distances between cover into more movement bounds than 1 and having units exposed to fire longer when covering large open distances.
