“You can never have too many trucks” is a catch phrase of Megablitz players, and, in fact, of players of other operational games such as Not Quite Mechanised. You see Megablitz includes rules for logistics and transport for those supplies is very important. Megablitz forces also need headquarters and signals units; signals units in particular are something that rarely appear on a wargaming table.
As a consequence I’ve been building up my truck pool. Actually it is a transport pool and includes trucks, half-tracks, tractors, cars, and wagons. Some painted by me, some by people I know, some just purchased off ebay.
I thought I’d highlight the range so far.

I purchased a job lot of vehicles at Salute one year and got these two specimens. I’ve no idea what they are.
Supply Depot
Long Range Logistics once based in Thailand but now back in the UK, sells a range of resin kit. I picked up a bunch of stuff for supply depots. The pieces feature metal drum, crates of various sizes, sacks, barrels and timber. Some of this is covered by tarpaulins.
I’ve plonked them on bases of various sizes (90x60mm, 80x40mm, 40x40mm) and painted them up as supply depots.
Dear Steven,
It’s nice to see a few trucks on the table. Your mystery trucks look very Chevrolet-y. They are probably intended to be licence-built or lend-lease examples, perhaps used by the French or Russians?
Chris, thanks for popping by and for the possible solution to the mystery trucks.
